Twist
Piles - A
hardwearing carpet that has a close, short pile. This
type of carpet can be made using a man made fibre
or a wool mixture. There is a wide choice of ranges
to choose from including economical felt backed carpets
through to luxurious 65 oz wool twists.
Naturals-
Combining fashion and function. Creating the "sisal-look"
but with the benefits of 100% wool. Many of the ranges
have multi level loops that create subtle textures
and patterns.
Saxony-
Has a chunky surface texture that produces
a luxurious soft carpet, available in a myriad of
colours.
Cut-pile
prints - These carpets offer an alternative
to a heather or fleck. They often have a small symmetrical
pattern of motif.
There
are also a wide variety of carpets that are made specifically
for use in kitchens and bathrooms. Many of these have
an impervious waterproof gel backing.
